WARHAMMER WYCH

My friends from Fred and Elle Designs wanted to do a Warhammer 40K group at MegaCon one year and enlisted me to join them as a Dark Eldar Wych.

I'll start off by saying that I've never played Warhammer before; however, my friends are very enthusiastic about it and told me about the different types of characters when they asked me to join them in a cosplay group. I picked the wych because they seemed just my style and got to work on finding reference images to put together an original design.

 

Having made Gilgamesh's armor beforehand, I decided to make the armor pieces myself, with help from Fred, who ended up painting them for me. I also made a lot of detail pieces, such as the chain loincloth and trophy jewelry, and modified the weapons Fred gave to me to fit the character. I had a lot of fun with this build and learned new skills!
